A field expedition to Egypt discovers the remains of Im-Ho-Tep, a cursed Egyptian prince. After one of the members reads the scroll of Thoth, Im-Ho-Tep comes back to life and begins his search for his long-lost love, now reincarnated as Helen Grosvenor, played by Zita Johann.
