Charlotte Henry plays Lena Rivers, a girl orphaned by the loss of her mother at birth, who must travel with her Grandmother to her uncle’s plantation in Kentucky. There, she falls for the neighbors’ son, Dorrie, and suffers the spite of her cousin Caroline.
